How to Enroll at MICMS

1. What you'll need to get started

You must have ALL required documents in order to successfully complete the application process. Please visit https://enrollmicms.schoolmint.com/login for more details.

2. Create an account & register

Create an account to access online application. This should take less than 10 minutes. You will receive an email confirmation once your account is set up, and your account will allow you to check on your application status.

3. Check the status of your registration 

Visit https://enrollmicms.schoolmint.com/login to access the online application system and view your application status.

Open Enrollment

Open enrollment for new students begins on February 3rd, 2025, and will close once all seats are filled!

Re-enrollment

Current students can re-enroll starting on January 20th, 2025.

Lottery

As we prepare to increase our student enrollment, all new students must submit a lottery application through SchoolMint. Even if seats are available, we’re still required by law to run a formal lottery to ensure a fair and transparent process. After the lottery, you’ll receive an email to accept your seat and complete your registration packet in your SchoolMint account.

  • How do I apply for my child?

    The application process is quick and easy. Begin by creating an account through this website. Then, complete the step-by-step application. Submit the required student information online or by mail. You will be notified when we review your application.

  • Is there any cost to apply?

    No. As a charter school, we provide education at no cost to the students and families - just like any other tuition-free public school. There is no cost to apply and no test required for admission. 

  • What if I do not have a computer?

    Our online registration is mobile-friendly. You do not have to use a pc and/or have a scanner available. You can complete the registration using a mobile or tablet by taking pictures of the documents when necessary.

  • What documents are needed for registration?

    To review a list of required documents, please choose either the English or Spanish/Creole options.

  • Can I use the same account to apply for all my children?

    Yes, it is recommended to register all your children using one SchoolMint account.

  • How long does it take for application review?

    Once your application is completed, the enrollment team will review it. If we have any questions, we will contact you. A registration packet will be sent to you via email by April 30th, 2025.

  • I have a question about my online application.

  • How do I check the status of my child's application?

    To check the status of your application, sign into your account. There, you will see the status of each application submitted. 

  • My student is returning to MICMS. Do I have to submit a new physical and immunization record?

    Depending on the age/grade level, you may not have to submit a new physical and immunization. To ask specific questions about your child's re-enrollment, please call the office at (239) 377-3200.

  • What is SchoolMint?

    SchoolMint is an online enrollment and communication platform that works with public, charter, and private schools to make the enrollment process for parents easier and faster.


    SchoolMint offers different options, so parents can apply and register with a computer or mobile device. Families can upload student documents, check application status, and even select the method in which they prefer to receive the school’s communications - by email or text.


    We utilize this enrollment software to ensure security and timely response to your student’s application.
